DRAWINGS

Drawing is the fundamental building block of all my art. When I was young, drawing was my drug. I could escape the confines of the classroom, or anywhere I didn’t want to be. The short distance from the brain to the hand can produce amazing images.

Some of my drawings are tight, some are loose, some are doodles and sketches, and some are finished products. I love graphite so much, I even use the powdered form on some of my frame surrounds as a finish.

The combination of inner and outer observation, coupled with the power of perception and imagination, are my ingredients that contribute to the whole.
